Who said you have to physically travel anywhere to escape reality?

Hi!

My name is Joan and I’m 26 years old. Raised in Brooklyn, NY and very recently moved to, and am residing in Los Angeles, CA. I spent the majority of my time after graduating from college either working or traveling for leisure. On the books, I’m a certified public accountant working at one of the Big 4 firms. On the side, I’m an avid traveler and a writer. Complete opposites – trust me, I know. I started this blog as a means to publish my most inner thoughts with random travel stories sprinkled throughout. I’ve always believed that you do not have to travel to escape reality. Traveling is a physical means of escape. Books help you escape without having to go anywhere; however, unlike most books written, I do not write endings. Like traveling, there is a plan, but no way can you predict how your day will go about. Take a deep breath. I welcome you to my most inner thoughts and my way of escapism. Exhale.
